11/9
Happy second quarter! I cannot believe one quarter has already flown by. I have truly enjoyed getting to know your student and watching them learn French. I am ready to make the most of our last quarter of 6th grade Exploratory French.
Tutoring --Tomorrow morning at 8! If your student is missing assignments or struggling with concepts, this is a perfect opportunity to come for small group work.
Next Thursday (11/17) tutoring is canceled because I will be out of town for an awesome PD opportunity.
Next Test--The next test will be 11/18 (for A day students) and 11/21 (for B day students). We will be preparing every day up until this test.
Topics-
--numbers (again 1-31, but students will be expected to answer simple math questions using the numbers) For example,
Trente-et-un - vingt-trois =_______________________________
--seasons
--weather
How to prepare--Students should review their notes, practice using the quizlet links below, watch relevant youtube videos, and ask questions! Students are always encouraged to email me with any questions!

Duolingo--Finally, I have asked that each student sign up for a duolingo account and join my class. Students should set a goal of 5-10 minutes a day to practice using duolingo (either the website or the app). The links are below in case your student hasn't signed up yet. There haven't been any formally assigned lessons on this site yet (I tried to assign one to test it out, but I will just count it as extra credit!)
